Julia Eubanks Hall, age 91, of Lucedale passed away peacefully Monday, December 1, 2025 at Smith Manor of Lucedale, MS.  She was born on September 28, 1934 into the loving family of the late Noel and the late Mary Lee (Brannan) Eubanks in the Rocky Creek Community.

After receiving her master's degree in education from the University of Southern Mississippi, she served as an assistant professor at Memphis State University until her retirement. Known to all for her sweetness and kind disposition, Julia cherished her family, her friends, and her faith above all else, and embraced each fervently during a lifetime of curiosity and adventure.  Though she was competitive by nature, games like bridge and dominoes were merely excuses for lively fellowship.  Hobbies enjoyed in solitude included birdwatching, gardening, reading, and solving puzzles.  Yet it was travel that best quenched Julia's open-mindedness; she visited all 50 states, toured extensively in Europe, and even journeyed to South America, Asia, and Africa.

She is survived by children, Stanley (Patti) Thompson, Sidney Thompson, Kittianne Velloff; grandchildren, Conner, Shania, Josh, Emme, Owen, Kelly, Jenny, Stephanie, Jonathan; many great grandchildren; siblings, Lena Tanner, Lionel (Sharon Kaye) Eubanks, Owen (Sheryl) Eubanks; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family members and friends who were close to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, A.N. Hall; parents, Noel Randolph and Mary Lee Eubanks; siblings, Randolph (Mary) Eubanks; son, Steve Hall.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Dr. Paul Brashier officiating.  Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery.
