June Vondell Evans, age 84, of Lucedale, MS, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at her son's home in Coral Springs, FL. Ms. Evans was born June 6, 1934 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Laurence and the late Jessie (Holifield) Rounsaville. She married the late George Clayton Evans Jr.

She was employed by George Co. Health Department as a desk clerk.

She is survived by two sons: Fred (Donda) Evans and George (Barbara) Evans, brother: Larry Rounsaville; She also has six grandchildren, Mike Evans, Anthony Giorlando, Ginger Ward, Amber Evans, Melissa Evans and Austin Evans; three great grandchildren, Trinity Mahar, Mylie Mansour and Chandler Foster.

Predeceased by her sister, Betty McMurphy.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church Of Lucedale, 345 Summer Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Eddie Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm at First Baptist Church Of Lucedale, 345 Summer Street, Lucedale, MS.
