Kenny A "Sonny" Finch, age 76, of Lucedale passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at Amelia's Garden of Lucedale, MS.

He was born April 11, 1948 in Agricola, MS. He is the son of the late Willie and the late Eula Mae (Roberson) Finch, the youngest of their children, along with his twin sister Emaline. He was raised in Agricola, and lived most of his life in George and Greene County.  He was a man strongly connected to his family. While that connection wasn't always peaceful, it was a deep connection and strong.

He began working at an early age, and worked and held many jobs. He spent most of his working life as a welder before retiring early due to injury.

He was twice married, first to Sarah Elois (Page) Finch who passed away before him, and later to Brenda Charlene (Peace) Finch, now living in Mobile, AL.  He fathered three children, now grown with families and children of their own. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren, and they were a source of joy and comfort to him.

He is survived by his children:  daughter, Edna Smith; daughter, April Goss; son, Brian Finch; his grandchildren, Nathan Goss, Isaac Smith, Ethan Smith, Chandler Smith, Xavier Finch, Malcolm Finch;  his great grandchildren, Ayla Smith and Russell Smith; and his sister, Martha Lundy.

He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Destiny Goss; sister, Mary Hinton; sister, Clarice Overstreet; brother, Milton "Buddy" Finch; brother, Alford "Pete" Finch; brother, John "Johnny" Finch; and sister, Emaline Cowart.

The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.  He will be laid to rest in Finch Cemetery in Agricola near his mother and father and those of his siblings who passed before him.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
