Kristie Leigh Thaggard, age 52, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Ms. Thaggard was born November 2, 1971 in Pascagoula, MS. She is the daughter of the late Vernon Arnold Thaggard Sr and Jessie Cochran Shows.

She was employed by Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her mother, Jessie Shows; brother, Arnold (Mary) Thaggard; brother, James Gerald Thaggard; nephew, Clifton Thaggard; nephew, Christopher Thaggard; nephew, Brandon Thaggard; niece, Heather Thaggard; niece, Courtney Thaggard; nephew, Chad Thaggard; nephew, Ethan Thaggard; 12 great nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Mike Dillion officiating.  Burial will be in Cochran-Thaggard Cemetery.
