Leona S. Craft, age 93, of Lucedale, MS died Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Smith Manor of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Craft was born October 23, 1927 in Jackson County, MS. She is the daughter of the late James A Seymour and the late Rosa Erette (Reeves) Seymour. She married Noel Dorven Craft Sr. She was predeceased by her husband on March 25, 1996.
She was employed by as a Teacher Assistant and was a member of Barton Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Milta (Don) Schmitz and one son: N. D. (Christi) Craft, grandson, Charlie (Leigh Ann) Bishop; grandson, Tim (Vickie) Bishop; granddaughter, Amy (Brian) Pursell; granddaughter, Shelly (Tim) Holland; grandson, David (Connie) Craft; 13 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren

Predeceased by her parents, Rosa & James Seymour, husband, Noel D. Craft, sister, Gladys Murray, and grandson, Brian Craft.

The private family funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Barton Baptist Church, Hwy 63 South, Lucedale, MS with Rev. John Henry and Dr. Brad Howard officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.

A private family visitation will be Saturday, August 28 from 10:00am-11:00am at Barton Baptist Church.
