Leonard Colon Havard, age 72, of Lucedale died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at home in Lucedale. Rev. Havard was born September 27, 1944 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Leonard Thomas and the late Grace (Eubanks) Havard. He married Barbara Diane Allman. He was predeceased by his wife on February 17, 2015.

He was employed by Boilermaker Local 110 as a Boilermaker.
Bro. Havard was a retired Baptist Minister at the Rhymes Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters: Connie (Daniel) Keel of Lucedale, MS and Brooke (Bud) Heathcock of Lucedale, MS, and two sons: Randy (Madison) Havard of Lucedale, MS and Nolan (Angie) Havard of Lucedale, MS,; two sisters: Margie (Elmer) Patrick and Janice (Carl) Steele, and one brother: Pete (Linda) Havard; 21 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his wife, Barbara Diane Havard, and daughter, Tammy Cumbie

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Rhymes Baptist Church, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Dale Dean officiating. Burial will be in Rhymes Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Friday, September 29 from 6:00pm -10:00pm at Rhymes Baptist Church.
