Lillie Mae Ollie Kyle Tanner, age 90, of Lucedale passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Greene County Hospital in Leakesville, MS.  Mrs. Tanner was born December 25, 1930 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Cecil and the late Lucy (Rouse) Kyle.  She married John Dawson Tanner Sr. on April 20, 1946; he predeceased her on September 18, 2009.

Mrs. Tanner was a self-employed nursery worker and she attended Howell Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters: Marie (David) Walters, Lucy Spillers and Judie (Larry) Harrison, and two sons: John D. Tanner Jr. and Rickey (Evelyn) Tanner, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her grandchild, Ryan Harrison and son-in-law Matt Spillers.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Howell Baptist Church, 6131 Hwy 612, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Richard Maples and Rev. Caleb Howell officiating.  Burial will be in Howell Cemetery in Lucedale, MS.
