Linda Jean Persons, age 78, of Lucedale died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at home in Lucedale. Mrs. Persons was born August 2, 1939 in Purvis, MS. She is the daughter of the late Joseph T. and the late Mary L. (Salter) Johnston. She married James Russell Persons. She was predeceased by her husband, James Russell Persons on November 13, 1985.

She was a Home Maker. Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lucedale.

She is survived by two sons: Russell (Brandy) Persons and Tosh (Hanna) Person,; one sister: Ann (Lloyd) Rollins; She also has four grandchildren; granddaughter, Claire Persons; granddaughter, Anna Persons; granddaughter, Alexis Persons; granddaughter, Samantha Persons, and 7 furry Children.

The funeral will be held 5:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry White officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.
