Linda Marlene Pierce, age 78, of Lucedale passed away Monday, August 4, 2025 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Pierce was born February 2, 1947 in Pascagoula, MS. She is the daughter of the late Barney Lee and the late Rosalie (Zeigler) Cumbest.  She married William Wayne Pierce on May 11, 1967.

She was a homemaker and she loved flowers, especially roses. She was a member of Movella Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, William Wayne Pierce; son, Gary Miller; daughter, Dana Patterson; daughter, Carrie Byrd; grandchildren, Brett Patterson, Bailey Patterson, Haley Cochran, Hope Cochran, Hanna Cochran, Miley Byrd, Gary Miller, Destiny Miller; sister, Delphia Bishop; brother, Buster Cumbest.

Predeceased by her son, Casey Miller; brother, Buck Cumbest; sister, Marylou Yates; brother, Barney Cumbest; brother, Jarrell Cumbest.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main Street, Lucedale with Rev. David Thomas officiating.  Burial will be in Movella Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.
