Lois J. Scott Baxter, age 90, of Lucedale, MS passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at her home in Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Baxter was born April 27, 1930 in Prichard, AL. She is the daughter of the late Richard Clark and the late Nannie Olean (Josey) Jackson.  She married Brunner Travis Baxter.

She was homemaker, a member of Agricola Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband: Travis Baxter , three daughters: Lisa (Phillip) Burton of Lula, GA, Evelyn (Phillip) Hardy of Daphne, AL and Susanne (Tony) Howell of Lucedale, MS, and one son: Michael (Lisa) Baxter of Mobile, AL. She also has 12 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be; Cliff Burton, Trey Howell, Justin Baxter, Tyler Baxter, Chris Estis, Jarrod Howell, Blake Baxter, Parker Baxter.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Roger Gilbert officiating.  Burial will be in Winborn Chapel Cemetery, Leakesville, MS.
