Lorena Gibson Clark, age 76, of Lucedale, MS passed away Friday, March 8, 2024 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Clark was born July 27, 1947 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Thomas J. Gibson and the late Irene (Holliman) Gibson.  She was married to William Wesley Clark for 51 years before he predeceased her on June 30, 2013.

Lorena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a faithful member of the Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church for many years. During her quiet times she loved reading the Bible along with other books. She also loved watching wrestling, putting puzzles together and singing. Mrs. Clark truly loved spending time with her family. To know her was to love her!

She is survived by four daughters: Susan (David) Welford, Mary (Larry) Cunningham, Shannon (Roger) Smith and Jodie (Kendall) Howard, and one son: Stephen Clark; two sisters: Mable Wiggins and Bea (B.J.) Hudson, and one brother: Billy (Debbie) Dickson; Care Giver, Margaret Clark. 17 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends

She was preceded in death by; her husband:  William Wesley Clark, parents: Thomas and Irene Gibson, mother and father-in-law: Leroy and Velma Clark, 2 brothers: Abner Gibson and T.J. Gibson, sister: Betty Strahan

Pall Bearers will include: Tyler Cooper, Brandon Clark, Mason LeBourhis, Mathew LeBourhis, Issac Clark, and Kristopher Clark.

Honorary Pall Bearers include: Aiden Brown, Kaden Herrington, Jason Cunningham, Kenneth Cunningham, Jaymison Cunningham, and Chris Cunningham.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Chonne, Tee, Hamani and Mrs. Diane from Enhabit Hospice for the wonderful care, love and support they provided.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with  Bro. Scott Brocious, Bro. John Grimes, Bro. Jeff Fields officiating.  Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale, MS following the services.
