Louis Thurman Thaggard, age 62, of Chickasaw, AL died Friday, August 17, 2018 at home in Chickasaw, Al. Mr. Thaggard was born June 26, 1956 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Syrl Fairley and the late Mary Elizabeth (Flurry) Fairley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roxy Charlotte Allman Thaggard. He was retired from Ingalls Shipbuilders as a Ship Builder.

He is survived by; one sister: Christine Karen (Colby) Sanford and two brothers: Russell Syrl (Kimberly) Fairley and Gary Forrest (Shirley) Fairley, nephew, Garrett Fairley; nephew, Carsen Sanford; nephew, Caleb Lambert

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Rhymes Baptist Church Cemetery, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Johnny Forister officiating. Burial will be in Rhymes Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.
