Marvin Marvell Cochran, Jr., age 68, of Lucedale died Friday, May 24, 2019 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mr. Cochran was born October 28, 1950 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Marvin Marvell Cochran Sr. and the late Willard Gertrude (Holland) Cochran. He married Jennie Cowart on June 2, 1972 at Wiggins, MS. He was a Self Employed Cattleman. Mr. Cochran was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife: Jennie (Cowart) Cochran and two daughters: Chris (Jason) Lorge of Lucedale, MS and Jeriah Cochran of Lucedale, MS. He also has four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. granddaughter, Jennifer Lorge of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Stephanie Lorge of Lucedale, MS; grandson, Jason Lorge Jr of Lucedale, MS; granddaughter, Jaycie Lorge of Lucedale, MS; great granddaughter, Journey Knight of Lucedale, MS; great granddaughter, Jennah Knight of Lucedale, MS.; two sisters: Terry Cumbest and Tammy Cochran, and one brother: Stanley Cochran;

Predeceased by his sister, Kitty Merritt

The funeral will be held 11:00am on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church, Fig Farm Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jeff Bass officiating. Burial will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Sunday, May 26 from 5:00-9:00pm at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.
