Mary Elizabeth Jones, age 83, of Lucedale died Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Sparrows Hills Personal Care of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Jones was born August 27, 1936 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Floyd E. Whatley and the late Rosetta (Roberts) Whatley. She married Hudie Jones on October 31, 1953. She was predeceased by her husband on May 11, 2003.

She is survived by; one brother: Floyd (Annette) Whatley of Lucedale, MS; Numerous nieces and nephews

Predeceased by her sister, Margaret David

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Pipkins Cemetery, 117 Pipkins Cemetery Road, Lucedale, MS. A memorial service with friends and family will be held at a later date.
