Mary Louisa Pierce, age 80, of Lucedale passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Pierce was born February 17, 1943 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late George Samuel and the late Belva Louisa (Mallette) Overstreet. She married Benjamin "Stud" Pierce in June of 1966. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1995. Mrs. Pierce was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by son, Benjamin "Benny" Perkins Pierce II; son, Timothy "Timmy" Scottie Pierce; son, Huey "Matt" Matthew Pierce; daughter, Beverly Lucille Stinson; grandchildren, Pierce Stinson, Paris Pierce, Colten Pierce, and Emmalee Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin "Stud" Pierce; granddaughter, Skylee Pierce; brothers, Charlie Overstreet and George Overstreet; and nephew, William Overstreet.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 12153 Hwy 613, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Terry Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 12153 Hwy 613, Lucedale, MS.
