Mary Welch Weston was born on November 19, 1940 to the late Spurgeon and the late Zula (Henry) Welch in Fairbanks, LA. She passed away on September 03, 2020 in Lucedale, MS.

Mary worked many years as a teacher and basketball coach. She was a member of Glen Oaks Chapel in Lucedale, MS.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Spurgeon and Zula Welch; her loving husband: Samuel Don Weston; brothers: Rufus Welch and Charlie Welch.

She is survived by her sons: Charlie (Jolynn) Weston and Donnie (Sharon) Weston; grandchildren: Charli (Dillon) Chance, Leah (Mason) Lyons, Zachary Weston; great-grandsons: Andrew Mills and Gauge Chance; siblings: Earlene Jones, Anita Roscoe, and Spurgeon Welch, Jr., along with other family and friends.

There will be a graveside service officiated by Pastor Robb Reiser at the Enon Baptist Church in Enon, LA on September 12, 2020 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in memory of Mary Weston to alz.org (Alzheimer's Association).
