Melba Louella Davis, age 77, of Lucedale passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at USA Medical of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Davis was born April 29, 1940 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Walter "Bud" and the late Gladys Louella (Eubanks) Davis. She married the late Herbert "Dick" Davis Sr.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter: Paula Carol Clements and three sons: Herbert Davis Jr., John F. Davis and Curt VanAllan Davis, six sisters: Ettafaye Davis, Elma Davis, Lavania Hammond, Maxine Sylvester, Elsie Tarver and Dena Kay Thurston, and five brothers: Jackie Davis, Andrew Davis, Marvin Davis, Allen Davis and David Davis,; She also has 10 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Predeceased by her sister, Vada Shefflett, brother, Rudeloph Davis, and brother, Leon Davis.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jackie Davis officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Lucedale, Ms.
