Merle Ann Ables Needles, age 71, of Milton, FL died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Baptist Hospital of Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Needles was born February 18, 1947 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late James Ervin Patterson and the late Thelma Q. (Dungan) Patterson. She married Randy Carl Needles. She was employed by Patricia's Tax Services as a Business Manager. Mrs. Needles was a member of Barton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband: Randy Carl Needles , two daughters: Brandi (Lee) Green of Ocean Springs, MS and Amanda (Heath) Gifford of Pace, FL, and two sons: Andy (Kristi) Needles of Pace, FL and Mike (Karolyn) Needles of Suwanee, IL,; one brother: Henry (Darlene) Patterson of Lucedale, MS; niece, Sherry (Richard) Verbeke of Hurley, MS.

Predeceased by her Father, Tanner Ervin Patterson, Mother, Thelma Patterson, 1st Husband, Max L. Ables, sister, Mary Clark, and brother, James "Bud" Patterson.

The funeral will be held on June 24, 2016 at 2:00pm from Barton Baptist Church, Hwy 63 South, Lucedale, MS. Visitation will be June 24 from 1:00 till 2:00 at the Barton Baptist Church. Burial will be in Barton Baptist Church Cemetery.
