Mitchell Lionel Loper, age 61, of Lucedale died Monday, February 4, 2019 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Loper was born August 4, 1957 in Pascagoula, MS. He is the son of Liller Mae (Buckley) Loper Parker and the late George Washington Loper. He married Theresa Gail Cook on November 22, 1980 in Lucedale, MS. He was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Gail Cook Loper on June 24, 2018. He was retired from Signal International as a Structural Supervisor.

He is survived by two daughters: Ann (Samuel) Hyatt and Michelle (Josh) Amodeo, and one son: Kevin (Nicole) Buckley; mother Liller Mae (Buckley) Loper; two sisters: Kristie Loper and Nathan (Billy) Wells, and two brothers: Joseph (Sherry) Loper and Jerry (Sherry) Loper,
7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren

Predeceased by his wife, Theresa Gail Loper, father, George Washington Loper, brother, Ben Ervin Loper, sister, Angie Kitchens, and Great Grandchild, Paisley Rogers

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Heath Havard officiating. Burial will be in Dye-Hyatt Family Cemetery, Lucedale.
