Myrtis Lucille Davis Peacock, age 85, of Lucedale died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at We Care Hospice of Moss Point, MS. Mrs. Peacock was born November 13, 1935 in Jasper County, MS. She is the daughter of the late William Chester Pitts and the late Clarabelle (Carroll) Pitts. She was employed by George County School System as a Cafeteria Manager for 25 years.

She is survived by two daughters: Charlette (Ben) Bohanick and Debbie (Mike) Stinson, and three sons: Kenneth (Debbie) Davis, Steve (Susan) Davis and Tim (Anne) Davis, 2 sisters: Connie Mabel Steward and Lazette Gray, and one brother: Robert "Butch" Pitts; She also has 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, 2 Future Great Grandchildren

Predeceased by her 1st husband, Willie O. Davis Jr, 2nd husband, Raymond Peacock, sister, Helen Pierce, sister, Lenora Pitts, brother, Willie Pitts, brother, Owen Pitts, brother, Jimmy Pitts, and son-in-law, Bill Hayzlett.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 114 Old Mobile Hwy, Lucedale, MS. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 29 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
