Myrtle E. Boykin, age 81, of Lucedale, MS died Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. Boykin was born February 16, 1942 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Olin Marshall and the late Inez (Eckhoff) Marshall.  Myrtle's husband, Ollie D Boykin predeceased her on January 3, 2021. Myrtle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of the Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Karla Richardson and one son: Dee (Janet) Boykin; two sisters: Dotty Dungan and Charlotte McManus, and one brother: Victor (Betty) Marshall; She also has four grandchildren, Kain, Kaelen, Ollia and Lauren

She was predeceased by Husband, Ollie D Boykin, brother, Tim Marshall, parents Olin and Inez Marshall

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Terry Smith and Rev. Allen Eubanks officiating.  Burial will be in Union Cemetery, following the services.
