Nathan Hilburn Davis, age 74, of Lucedale died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Providence Hospital
of Mobile, AL. Mr. Davis was born January 10, 1943 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late
Nathan Davis and the late Myrtle (Lee) Davis McClure. He married Edith Maxine Rhymes on
May 7, 1960. He was predeceased by his wife, Edith Maxine Rhymes Davis on December 29,
2016.

He was employed by Ingalls Shipbuilders as a Supervisor.

He is survived by two daughters: Gwen (Joe) Kittrell and Misty (Andy) Hobby, and one son:
Mike (Jenni) Davis; five sisters: Bobby Joe (Pete) Eubanks, Maryles (Dennis) Williams, Denise
(Johnny) Hyatt, Pam (Terry) Bexley and Daisy (Richard) Eubanks, and two brothers: Alan
(Lynn) Davis and Anthony Davis,; son in Law, Stuart Salisbury;
11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren

Predeceased by his daughter, Nita Salisbury, brother, Thad Davis, brother, Graylon Davis,
sister, Billie Jean James

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Monday, March 13 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St.,
Lucedale, MS with Bro. R. D. Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Davis Moody Cemetery,
Lucedale.
