Nettie Rebecca Stringfellow, age 100, of Lucedale passed away Monday, July 14, 2025 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Stringfellow was born May 31, 1925. She is the daughter of the late Grady and the late Edith Fench Davis. She married George Stringfellow in 1942.

Mrs. Nettie was a Homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis (Cathy) Stringfellow and George Stringfellow Jr; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by husband, George Stringfellow; daughter, Mary Perritt; parents, Grady and Edith Davis; sister, Essie Davis-Hitton; sister, Selma Davis-Stringfellow; sister, Esther Davis-Stringfellow; sister, Irene Davis-Thornton; sister, Cora Lee Davis Tanner;  brother, Grady Leo Davis; sister, Eunice Carol Davis-Kyle; brother, John Wesley Davis; sister, Edith Mae Davis-Johnson; sister, Mary Evelyn Davis-Johnson; sister, Barbara Davis-Goff; sister, Myrtle Louise Davis-Stringfellow; brother, Danny Ray Davis; granddaughter, Ina Kay Stringfellow; granddaughter, Tracy Perritt; great granddaughter, Allie Cooper; great grandson, Daniel Stringfellow

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Tanner Cemetery, Tanner Chapel Rd.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10:00am-11:00am at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.

Mrs. Stringfellow was well taken care of and was able to stay in her own home, where she wanted to be. God blessed her with a great niece, Deborah Allgood, who stayed with her day and night. The family would like to extend a "thank you" to all her caregivers-Melissa, Robbie, and Latwyla; and a special thanks to her niece, Debbie Glascox, for all of her love.
