Mr. Odie Davis passed away on June 14, 2018 in Washington County Alabama. Odie was born in Lucedale, MS to his parents, Mr. Will O. Davis and Lucy Jane (Dees) Davis on January 8, 1935. He worked 36 years as an offshore welder. His passions included fishing, gardening, squirrel hunting and piddling. Mr. Davis was a dedicated member of Lighthouse Worship Center. He was a hard working husband, father, brother, pawpaw and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Will O. and Lucy Dees Davis; Brother Willie "Tar Baby" Davis; 3 sisters, Lucille Pearman, Yvonne Danley and Voncille Williams; sister-in-law, Linda Davis
Those Left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Marie Davis; Children, Pamela J. (Mark) Brannon, Danny R. Fairley, Kristal L. (Larry) Gray, Owen Davis; grandchildren, Harley B. (Robert) Prentiss, LaKayla M. Gray; brothers, C. H. Davis, Jessie Frank (Peggy) Davis, Raymond (Diane) Davis, Roy ( Martha) Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, relative and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday June 20, 2018 from 5-9:00pm at the Lighthouse Worship Center. Funeral Services will be Thursday June 21, 2018 at 11:00am at the Lighthouse Worship Center, burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Bro. Derrick Hoyt and Bro. Larry Hoyt will officiate.
