Ollie Dee Boykin, Sr. (Pop) died January 3, 2021 at the USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Pop was born June 28, 1940 and lived in Lucedale his entire life. For 40 years he owned and operated Coastal Plastering Company in Mobile, AL and many of his family members were involved in the business.

Pop was an avid outdoorsman and spent as much time as possible enjoying such with his friends and family. His grandchildren were the main joy of his life.

He is survived by his wife Myrtle, his daughter Karla Richardson, his son Dee (Janet) Boykin, grandchildren Kain, Kaelen, Ollia and Lauren; brothers Max Boykin, Randall Davis, and Eddie Davis; sister Betty (Clyde) Napp and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his father A. Cornell Boykin; mother Irene Davis; step father Wilson Davis; brothers Bobby Davis and Faron Davis; and two infant children.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. John Henry officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lucedale.
