Ouida Vern Havard, age 86, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, AL.  Mrs. Havard was born August 24, 1938 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Curtis and the late Tribble B Keyes Howard.

She owned the Original Howard Florist in Lucedale.

She is survived by son, Al (Robin) Cooley; brother, Everett (Patricia) Howard; sister-in-law, Jean Howard; grandchildren, Kayla (Daniel) Morgan, Allie (Tyler) Carr, AnnaGrace (Jerrod) Cooley, Amy (Brandon) Wilson; great grandchildren, Rylee Kate Morgan, Caleb James Morgan, Adalynn Faith Morgan, Wesston Edward Carr, Waylon Burge Carr, Ava Breyleigh Wilson.

Predeceased by her daughter, Sheila Carol Cooley; parents, Curtis and Tribble Howard; father of her children, Murray Cooley; husband, Tom Havard; brother, Rodger Howard; grandchild, Cooley Infant Baby Boy.

The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jamie Cochran and Rev. Johnny Duncan officiating.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 6, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pm and Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 9:00am-10:00am at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS
