Patricia Ann Holmes, age 73, of Lucedale passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at George Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Holmes was born February 24, 1950 in Tennessee. She is the daughter of the late William Lloyd and the late Verlie Mae (Kitty) Fowler.  She married Harley Holmes, he preceded her in death on November 1, 2018.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter: Kim Emerson of Macon, GA and one son: Chris Holmes of Lucedale, MS; sister: Lelar Fowler; brother: Glenn Fowler; Three grandchildren: Rod (Heather) Emerson, Joshua (Ali) Emerson, Heaven (Zach) Dean; eight great-grandchildren: Preston Emerson, Paightyn Emerson, Parker Emerson, Chloe Emerson, Levi Emerson, Brooklyn Emerson, Isabella Emerson, Taylor Dean; sister-in-law and special friend, Maxine Brooks.

Predeceased by: daughter-in-law, Rachel Holmes; son-in-law, Rodney Emerson; two great granddaughters: Cheyenne Emerson and Vanessa Dean; two brothers, William Fowler and Jimmy Fowler; sister: Shirley Fowler.

The memorial service will be held at a later date.
