Patsy V. Taylor, age 73, of Lucedale passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center of Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Taylor was born July 6, 1946 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Joe and the late Ella (Rouse) Vesely. She married Willie Taylor. She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Taylor on November 22, 2007.

Mrs. Taylor was not only a homemaker, but a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a wonderful sister. She had such a generous heart and a spunky personality. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking family dinners, playing dominos and scrabble, jigsaw puzzles, fishing, camping, and yard work. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Eastern Star, Rhymes Missionary Baptist Church, and the Girl Scouts organization.

She is survived by daughter: Kristy (Josh Craig) Taylor, step daughter: Frances Taylor,
son: Joseph "Jody" Taylor; sister: Jonette Vesley; five grandchildren: Toni Kittrell, Mattie Taylor, Kevin Church, Caitlyn Church, Tiffany Evans; Great Grandchild, Eli Parker.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Magnolia Cemetery, with Rev. John Turner officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Lucedale MS.
