Paul J. Nicholson, age 82, of Lucedale passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Lucedale, MS.  Mr. Nicholson was born November 21, 1942, in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Earnest and the late Dessie (Horn) Nicholson.  He married Jimmie Weaver, she preceded him in death.

He was employed by Brown and Root as a supervisor. Mr. Nicholson was a member of   Eastview Church of God. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening with his two dogs Bandit and Briann

He is survived by his daughters: Stella (Carl) McKissick, Darlene (Mike) Lewis and Tina L. Goff; 13 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Predeceased by his wife, Jimmie Nicholson, his son, Paul M. Nicholson, and grandson, Curtis Welford.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Phillip McKissick officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
