Paula Dianne Howell, age 78, of Lucedale passed away Monday, September 29, 2025 at home in Lucedale.  Miss Howell was born September 7, 1947 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late William A. and the late Roxie V. (King) Howell.

Miss Howell was a lifelong dedicated member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her church family. She served many years as the Sunday school nursery teacher. She loved to bake. Miss Howell did not have any children of her own, but she mothered many throughout the years; she was especially devoted to her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by sister, Corliss Howell; brother, Charlie (Elvie) Howell; sister, Wanda (John) Watson; nieces and nephews, Will (Jesusa) Howell, Leo Howell, Ed (Tiffany) Howell, Amber (Trey) Roberts, Jesse (Whitney) Watson; great nieces and nephews, Aiden, Alessi, Charles, Theo, River, Ella, Elizabeth, Victoria, Gabby and Maddox.

Predeceased by brother, William E. (Frog) Howell; brother, Eltroy Howell.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS with Dr. Richard Harvey officiating.  Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 9:30-11:00AM at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 14146 Hwy 26 West, Lucedale, MS.
