Raymond D. Conner, Jr., age 45, of Semmes, AL passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, AL.  Mr. Conner was born September 12, 1975 in Mobile, AL. He is the son of Raymond D. and Mary Ann (Havard) Conner Sr. He married Jessica Hill on October 3, 1997.

He was employed by many auto body shops in the area as a master auto body tech.

Mr. Conner was a family man and the best father in the world, even to kids that were not his own. He was a Godly man and helped anyone who needed help and didn't expect anything in return. He was a providing man; he worked most days, and when he was not working, he loved to watch movies, Alabama football, fishing, going to the land and being with loved ones.

He is survived by his wife: Jessica (Hill) Conner , one daughter: Kortney (Austin Chavis) Conner of Semmes, AL and one son: Kameron (Katelynn Hicks) Conner of Semmes, AL; He has one  grandson, River Conner of Lucedale, MS; his father, Raymond D. and mother, Mary Ann (Havard) Conner Sr. of Semmes, AL;  one sister: Rebecca (John) Davis of Semmes, AL;; one niece, Amber (Dylan) McKeough and two nephews, Justin (Haley) Davis; Dustin (Trista Merritt) Davis and many other family members.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Jim Cobb and Rev. Cody Cooley officiating.  Burial will be in Conner Cemetery, 206 Sally Parker Road in Lucedale, MS.
