Reeda Mae Pipkins Black, age 95, of McLain passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at home. Mrs. Reeda was born March 12, 1930 in Leaf, MS. She is the daughter of the late Henry Monroe and the late Lilly Mae Goff Cochran.

Mrs. Reeda was a homemaker but she was able to travel the world with her first husband, Troy, during his military career.

She is survived by three grandsons, Michael (Vicky Escobar) Sylvester, Robert (Sandy) Pugh, Larry (Michelle) Pugh; 7 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, Henry and Lillie Mae Cochran; husband, Troy D. Pipkins; husband, Hughie Black; daughter, Diane Pugh; son, Eugene Pipkins.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Pipkins Cemetery, Breland Road, Leaf, MS with Rev. Brenda Stutz officiating.
