Regina Cathleen Crawford Gomien (Carr), 77, of Lucedale, MS, passed away on February 17, 2026. Born May 4, 1948 in Johnson City, TN, to the late Jake and Margaret Carr. She was an alumna of East Tennessee State University and Xavier University where she obtained a Masters of Teaching. She served for 30 years in the New Richmond Exempted School System (Ohio) and was member of the Kappa Delta Gamma Professional Society.

Regina was preceded in death by her late husband, Earl E. Crawford. She is survived by Ronald Gomien; sister, Evelyn Bolton (Steve); children: Melonie Cosby, Monica Crawford, and Matthew Crawford (Joy); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and church community.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church in Beaumont, MS, on Saturday February 21, 2026, at 11 AM with Pastor John Sapp officiating.
