Rexford Junior "Rex" Hamblin, II, age 61, of Lucedale passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Hamblin was born March 31, 1961 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Rexford Junior Hamblin l and the late Linda Nell (Mills) Hamblin.

Rex was a loving, outgoing, trusting, and kindhearted man. He has warmed the hearts of many and touched countless lives as Cowboy Rex. He was a member of Journey Church. He was employed by Scrapmetal Salvage.

He is survived by brothers: Alex (Gay) Hamblin and Albert (Julie) Hamblin; Nephews: John William (Ashley) Hamblin, Jonathan (Elizabeth) Hamblin, Vincent (Megan) Hamblin, Spencer (Victoria) Hamblin; Great Nieces: Alanis, Emalyn, Ellie; Great nephews, Arlo and Oliver; Former Wife and good friend, Ailine Hamblin.

Predeceased by his Mother, Linda Nell Mills; Father, Rexford Junior Hamblin l; Brother, William Hamblin.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev Barry Jemison officiating.  Burial will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale, MS
