Richard Quitman Havard, age 67, of Lucedale died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at home in Lucedale. Mr. Havard was born July 25, 1951 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of the late Richard Lester and the late Hilda Janette (Stevison) Havard. He married Imo Jean Havard on March 12, 1990. He was predeceased by his wife, Imo Jean Havard on October 24, 2012. He served his country in the U. S. Army. He was a retired Welder. Mr. Havard was a member of Rhymes Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters: Pam (Monroe) Hateley, Tammy Hollinghead and Carol (Tyler) Dupree, and one son: Ed Hollinghead; one sister: Anna Kay (Tommy) Bates and three brothers: Stevie (Carlene) Havard, Daniel (Melanie) Havard and Mike (Joann) Stevison;
12 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Rhymes Baptist Church, 1056 Lamar St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Dale Dean officiating. Burial will be in Rhymes Baptist Church Cemetery, Lucedale.

Calling hours will be Sunday, August 5 from 6:00-9:00pm at Rhymes Baptist Church.
