Richard Allen York, age 74, of Lucedale passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at home in Lucedale. Mr. York was born October 13, 1943 in Robinson, IL. He is the son of the late Raleigh York and the late Christine (Littlejohn) York. He married Jo Lynne Kneifel.

He was a retired Millwright. Richard loved going hunting and fishing and being outdoors. He was always willing to help anybody that needed it. He enjoyed going to the Benndale Super Store being with friends and having his morning coffee.  Everyone truly enjoyed his visits to the store and he will never be forgotten. a coffee cup has been placed in his memory.

He is survived by his wife: Jo Lynne (Kneifel) York , three daughters: Christina (Ike) Prieto, Linnea Poff and Brenna Jarnecke, and one son: Shawn (Emma) Poff; 4 grandchildren. Also survived by a sister and her husband , brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by A sister, Garnet, brother Larry and a baby.

You will be greatly missed and always in our hearts, We Love You.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
