Rickie DeWayne Dickerson, age 50, of Pontotoc died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at home in
Pontotoc, MS. Mr. Dickerson was born September 30, 1965 in Lucedale, MS. He is the son of
Sandra (Cockrell) Dickerson and the late Ralph Dickerson. He married Julie Christine Hall. He
was predeceased by his wife, on August 16, 2003.
He was a retired employee of the George Regional Jail as a Law Enforcement officer.
He is survived by two daughters: Angelica Lee (Brandon) Sprinkle of Pontotoc, MS, Bridget Noel
Dickerson; mother Sandra (Cockrell) Dickerson; one sister: Dede Snyder and one brother:
Donnie Dickerson; He also has four grandchildren. Grandson, Aiden Sprinkle; granddaughter,
Riley Sprinkle; granddaughter, Anna Dickerson; grandson, Bo Hill.
The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, July 16 at Bexley Baptist Church, 2242 Bexley
Crossroads Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Larry Havard officiating. Burial will be in Bexley
Baptist Church Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 15 from 5:00-9:00pm at Bexley Baptist Church.
