Rita Elaine Bexley, age 84, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Sparrow Hills Personal Care of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Bexley was born April 10, 1939 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Otis R. and the late Annie Dye Bufkin Sr. She married Russell Bexley on April 26, 1957 in Jacksonville, SC. She was predeceased by her husband on November 17, 2007.

Mrs. Bexley was a homemaker and caregiver, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was also a member of Agricola Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter, Robin (Keith) McLeod and three sons, Rocky (Jennifer) Bexley, Russ (Barbara) Bexley and Randy (Deb) Bexley; numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; brother, Roland (Janice) Bufkin

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Bro. Heath Havard officiating. Burial will be in Agricola Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS
