Rita Joyce McMullen, age 77, of Lucedale passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Mrs. McMullen was born October 17, 1944 in Shippensburg, PA. She is the daughter of the late Paul Beecher and the late Margaret Bigler Smith.

She is survived by daughters, Melissa (Russell) Robertson and Courtney Hickey; six grandchildren, Kyle (Sabrina) Robertson, Kiera (Mitch) Greene, Jack Hickey, Noah Hickey, Aiden Hickey, Charlotte Hickey; great grandchildren, Daylin Robertson, Westin Robertson and Jakoby Greene.

The graveside funeral will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Magnolia Cemetery, 328 Mill Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. B. J. Hudson officiating.

Calling hours will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:45am to 10:00am at Magnolia Cemetery.
