Robbie Jo Gilbert, age 75, of Moss Point died Friday, July 15, 2016 at Singing River Hospital of
Pascagoula, MS. Mrs. Gilbert was born February 4, 1941 in Purvis, MS. She is the daughter of
the late Prentiss C. and the late Lillie Mae (Amacker) Brooks. She married James Edward
Foster in November 2010.
She was a longtime resident of Lucedale, MS and a Home Maker.
She is survived by her husband: James Edward Foster and three daughters: Delana Williams,
Robin Deanna Gilbert, Donna Foy; one sister: Norma Coleman and two brothers: Sonny
Brooks, Carl Brooks; grandson, Maurice Martinez; grandson, Thomas Foy; grandson, Dillon
Foy; granddaughter, Megan Scarbrough; grandson, Blake Williams; grandson, Payton Williams;
great grandson, Collin Scarbrough; great granddaughter, Gracie Martinez; great granddaughter,
Londyn Scarbrough; great granddaughter, Autumn Martinez.
The funeral will be held 3:00 pm on Monday, July 18 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St.,
Lucedale, MS with Rev. John Henry officiating. Burial in Barton Cemetery, Lucedale, MS
