Robert Wayne Brown, age 71, of Mt. Pisgah community of Greene County, MS passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at home.  Mr. Brown was born February 18, 1954 in Homestead, FL. He is the son of the late Claude and the late Peggy Houtshouser Brown. He married Darlene B. Bates on November 22, 2006.

He served in the Army and he worked in construction.  Mr. Brown was a member of MT. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church in Leakesville, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Brown; son, Robert Brown Jr. of Washington State; son, David Brown of Sweden; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Russell (Debbie) Brown and Alan (Becky) Brown; a host of nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents, Claude and Peggy Brown; brother, Arthur Brown.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Sigler Funeral Home Inc., 4248 Main Street, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Daniel Allen and Rev. Russell Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Westerfield Memorial Gardens, 1700 Lackey St, Leakesville.
