Robert Earl Burnett, Sr., age 73, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Singing River Hospital of Pascagoula, MS.  Mr. Burnett was born February 26, 1952. He is the son of the late Riley Evan and the late Flora Victoria (Brownley) Burnett.

He served in the Marine Corps and he attended Crossroads United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Burnett was a carpenter.

He is survived by his significant other, Connie Kay Howard; daughter, Donna (James) Jackson; son, Rob (Dawn) Burnett; grandchildren, Chasity (Zachary) Eubanks, Robby (Courtney) Burnett, Daren (Seanelle) Burnett, Garet Burnett, Lela Burnett, Cody (Sara) Dueitt, Delanna (Tyler) Gravely; great grandchildren, Braxton Eubanks, Tynlee Eubanks, Mallory Eubanks, Saybri Burnett, Kameron Burnett; brother, Archie Burnett.

Predeceased by his father, Riley Burnett; mother, Flora Burnett; brother, Calvin Burnett; sister, Carrie Burnett; brother, Charles Burnett; brother, Danny Burnett; brother, Donnie Burnett.

A graveside service will be held  at 11:00AM on Wednesday January 21, 2026 at New Antioch Cemetery, Twin Creek Road, Lucedale, MS. with Rev. Mike Dillon officiating.
