Robert Mark Thompson, age 65, of Leakesville, MS passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Leakesville, MS. Mr. Thompson was born April 9, 1956 in Baltimore, MD. He is the son of the late Palmer Thompson and the late Maxine (Bibbie) Thompson. He married Betty Lee Haws on February 2, 1991 in Maryland. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Lee (Haws) Thompson and two daughters: Marsha (James) Klimm and Shelby Bitler,; one sister: Kathy Chincarini; grandson, Alex Klimm; grandson, Brent Klimm; grandson, Aaron Thompson; grandson, Jordyn Bitler; grandson, Caleb Bitler; 1 great grandchild.

The funeral will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Geiger Road Apostolic Church, Geiger Road, Lucedale, MS with Rev. Phillip McKissick and Rev Cody Cooley officiating.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5:00-8:00pm at Geiger Road Apostolic Church
