Roger Book Hopkins, age 84, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS.  Mr. Hopkins was born December 18, 1938 in Upper Darby, PA. He is the son of the late Henry and the late Ann (Snyder) Hopkins.  He married Carol Kneep. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Kneep Hopkins on February 15, 2013.

He served in the Air Force and was employed at a Power Plant as a Nuclear Electric Inspector. He was an artist, cartoonist, song writer, singer, author, and poet.

He is survived by one daughter: Elaine Soha; three sons: Douglas Hopkins, Richard Hopkins and Lee Hopkins; two grandchildren: Mark Soha and Eric Soha; First Wife, Betty Lou Hopkins.

He is predeceased by his son, Patrick Hopkins; two brothers, Horace Book Hopkins and Joseph Book Hopkins.
