Rose Mary Washam, age 74, of Leakesville, MS died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at home in Leakesville. Mrs. Washam was born August 23, 1945 in Leakesville, MS. She is the daughter of the late Napoleon "Boss" Brown and the late Ethel (Brannon) Brown. She married Donell Washam on June 12, 1964 at Greene County, MS. She was predeceased by her husband, on October 5, 2003. .

She is survived by one daughter: Tracie (Kendall) Jordan of Mobile, AL and one son: Kevin (Teresa) Washam of Grand Bay, AL; three sisters: Carol Pierce of Pascagoula, MS, Velma Lou (Bearld) Harvison of Leakesville, MS and Jean (Ronald) Kirkwood of Lucedale, MS, and three brothers: James "Bud" (Sharon) Brown of Wiggins, MS, Lewis Joe (Aletha) Brown of Lucedale, MS and Scotty Eli (Mildred) Brown of Lucedale, MS,; granddaughter, Rachel Brannon Jordan of Mobile, AL; granddaughter, Mary Ann Wilton Jordan.

The funeral will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Bobby Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Ball Cemetery, Lucedale.
