Rosemary S Newberry, age 79, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at home in Lucedale.  Mrs. Newberry was born December 7, 1944 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of the late Fred and the late Annis Shaw.  She married Dennis Newberry in 1967.

She retired as a floor supervisor from Cspire. Mrs. Newberry enjoyed sewing and quilting.

She is survived by one son, Mark Newberry and one daughter,Laura (Michael) Denmark; three grandchildren, Anna (Adam) Smith, Aaron Frye, Zachary Frye; two great grandchildren, Allie Rose Smith and Tatum Reese Smith; sister, Jacqueline Thompson; brother, John Shaw; son-in-law , Garland Frye.

Predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Rose Frye; husband, Dennis Newberry; sister, Barbara Bohn; brother, George Shaw.

A graveside service will be held 10:15 am on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Macedonia Cemetery, Brushy Creek Road, Lucedale, MS. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Lucedale on Tuesday, July 9 at 10:15 am.
