Ruby Lynn Mergenschroer, age 88, of Lucedale died Monday, July 25, 2022 at George Regional Medical Center of Lucedale, MS. Mrs. Mergenschroer was born November 17, 1933 in Lucedale, MS. She is the daughter of the late Murdock Tanner and the late Carrie (Davis) Tanner. She married Casper Icem Mergenschroer on April 19, 1953 in McLain, MS. She was predeceased by her husband on April 1, 2019. Ruby was a loving Wife, Grandmother, Homemaker and the best Mother ever. She was employed by Lucedale Sportswear as a Material Cutter and a Cafeteria Worker in the George County School System.
Mrs. Mergenschroer was a member of Refuge United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters: Jane Mergenschroer of Lucedale, MS, Tonya (Lee) Harbison of Lucedale, MS and Paula (Keith) Hinton of Lucedale, MS, and one son: Larry (Susan) Mergenschroer of Lucedale, MS; grandchild, Mallory (Daniel) Hoerner; grandchild, William Bonner; grandchild, Jared Cole; grandchild, Paulina (William) Bexley; grandchild, Tyler Mergenschroer; grandchild, LeAnn Harbison; Great grandchild, Bently; Great grandchild, Emmalyn Rose; Great grandchild, Marina. Numerous Nieces and Nephews

Predeceased by her daughter, Tabatha Bonner, son-in-law, Terry Bonner, grandchild, Jeremy Bonner, Sister, Louise Eubanks, Sister, Sabra Eubanks, Sister, Sally Fairley, Sister Sonja Fulks, husband, Casper Mergenschroer, and Parents, Murdock and Carrie Tanner.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Harrell Moore and Rev. Jeff Trehern officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
