Sabra Gayle Rasberry Yates, age 76, passed peacefully at home on October 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 9, 1949, in Bay Minette, AL. She attended Baldwin County Elementary School and Baldwin County High School.

She was baptized at Eastwood Baptist Church in Bay Minette at 8 years old. In her 50s, she joined New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and rededicated her life to God and was baptized again.

From the 4th grade, Sabra knew she wanted to be a housewife and mother. She got to live out her dream after meeting William Boyd "Bogan" Rasberry at her family diner in Bay Minette, AL. They married in 1967 and lived in multiple states around the country before settling in Lucedale. They were happily married for 37 years.

After Bogan's passing in 2005, Sabra married Roger Yates in 2007, and they enjoyed 18 years of marriage before his passing in 2025.

Sabra is survived by her children: Connie (Mike) McTire, Amy (Sam) McClure, Ruben (Rachelle) Rasberry, Adrian (Robbin) Rasberry, and Jessica (David) Kuykendall; grandchildren: John McTire, Jr, Crystal McTire, Luke McClure, Jacob Rasberry, Joshua (Andrea) Rasberry, William (Abby) Rasberry, Naomi Rasberry, Madison (Cameron) Schultz, Hannah (Cameron) Greene, Jadyn Rasberry, Brodie Rasberry, Daevian Rasberry, Brenlon, and her fur babies, Hank and Bertha; great grandchildren: Kolton McTire, Liam McTire, Onyx Bland, Amberly McClure, Jayce McIlwain, Adeline Rasberry, Charlotte Rasberry, Baylor Schultz, Josie Schultz, Berklee Greene and Elijah Kuykendall; sisters-in-law: Betty Rice and Cathy White; numerous other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

She is preceded in death by husband, William Boyd "Bogan" Rasberry; husband, Roger Lee Yates; parents, Ralph Hall White and Mamie Lee McDonald; siblings: Doris (Alvin) Harris, Alice (Rudy) Cooper, Ralph "Buddy" White, Paul White, Wayne White, Allan "Bo" (Elaine) White; grandson, Ford McClure.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St. Lucedale, MS. Burial will follow in Bay Minette Cemetery, 1101 US-31 Bay Minette, AL.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Friday, November 6, 2026 and 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday, September 7, 2026 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St. Lucedale, MS.

Pallbearers: Luke McClure, Jacob Rasberry, Joshua Rasberry, William Rasberry, Brodie Rasberry, Johnny Broderick.
