Sadie Ilene Washam, age 75, of Lucedale, MS passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at home in Lucedale. Mrs. Washam was born May 8, 1946 in Wayne County, MS. She is the daughter of the late Alton Dearman and the late Virginia Irene (McIwain) Dearman. She married Douglas L. Washam. She was predeceased by her husband in 2003. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by two sons: Wilton (Rosemary) L. Washam of Lucedale, MS and Paul (Asuka) D. Washam of Murrieta, CA; one daughter: Pamela (Brian) I. Howell of Lucedale, MS; one sister: Kathy West

The funeral will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Rev. Don Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Ball Cemetery, Lucedale.
