Samuel Magruder Breland, age 56, of Lucedale passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at home in Lucedale.  Mr. Breland was born December 6, 1967 in Dothan, AL. He is the son of the late Shelton Enmon and the late Jean Merrell Webb Breland Sr.

Mr. Breland worked for Mississippi Department of Corrections for a time, and retired from Mississippi Department of Transportation. He loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by aunt and uncle, Shelley and Terry Gibson; uncle, Sheldon Webb; aunt, Evelyn Navin; a host of cousins and other family.

Predeceased by his father, Shelton Enmon Breland Sr.; mother, Jean Merrell Breland; twin brother, Shelton Enmon Breland Jr..; maternal and paternal Grandparents.

The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Leaf Church, Church Road, Leaf, MS with Rev. Grant McLain officiating.  Burial will be in Leaf Cemetery.
